Featuring angular contours and geometric elliptical openings, it attempts to free itself from the hierarchy of materials by intentionally eliminating the inherent texture of materials through urethane coating. By posing questions about contemporary materialistic values and adhering strictly to the singular function of 'sitting' while minimizing compositional elements, this design embodies functionalist rationality and dematerialized design philosophy. It is a work that explores the possibility of how the pursuit of pure function can bring new perspectives to the very significance of material existence.
